Public Transport in Vienna

 

The conference venue, i.e. the main building of the University of Vienna, is located a 5-minut walk away from the subway/tram stop "Schottentor", which is served by the subway line U2, tram lines D, 1, 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 71, and bus lines 1A and 40A

The subway/tram stop as well as the University of Vienna are accessible barrier-free via elevators and a ramp to the main entrance of the University of Vienna's main building, respectively.

Within the city the tickets can be used for all public transport facilities (buses, tramways, and subways). A single ticket is € 2.60. There are also ticket options for 24 hours (€ 8.00), 48 hours (€ 14.10), 72 hours (€ 17.10), and for seven days (for the same price of € 17.10). (*)

Tickets can be purchased online, through the WienMobil App, at the airport, at all metro stations, and in tobacco stores.
